We are currently seeking college students and emerging professionals to serve as volunteer mentors for our Youth Mentoring Initiative. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in sharing this opportunity with students who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities.

Volunteer mentors will:

  • Facilitate a small mentoring group of up to eight high school students.

  • Commit to two mentoring sessions per month (Oct-June),  with each session lasting at least two hours.

  • Foster meaningful relationships, encourage personal and academic growth, and serve as positive role models for participating youth.

  • Participate in a rewarding experience that develops leadership, communication, and facilitation skills while giving back to the community.

To help offset transportation and related expenses, volunteer mentors will receive a monthly travel stipend of $85.

YMI is a group-based mentoring program that supports high school–aged young men as they build confidence, leadership skills, and concrete plans for their future. As a mentor, you’ll help guide students through conversations and activities centered on social-emotional learning, college and career readiness, financial literacy, global citizenship, and creative self-expression.

  • Group mentoring with up to 8 students

  • Meet twice per month starting now through June 2026

  • Mentors of all genders are welcome!

  • Must be 21+ years old

  • Receive a travel stipend of $85/month!

Kitchen Renovation Toronto can relocate the sink to an island when plumbing requirements and the overall layout make the change practical.

Mentoring is a great way to build confidence, patience, and communication skills. I get a similar sense of focus and timing when playing Drift Boss, where every move takes practice to get right.

What a fantastic opportunity! Mentoring can truly transform lives, both for mentors and mentees. I’m a former mentor myself, and seeing the growth in my mentee was rewarding. How do you match volunteers with youth? Curious minds want to know! And speaking of skill-building, have you ever thought about introducing something like drift boss as a fun way to engage them more?

This mentoring initiative offers a meaningful way for college students and emerging professionals to build leadership and communication skills while helping high school students prepare for college, careers, and financial independence. The small-group format also highlights how patience, planning, and thoughtful decision-making can make a real difference over time. For a lighter activity that similarly encourages strategic thinking and problem-solving, Block Blast decision-making strategies can be a fun mental break.

This sounds like a meaningful opportunity for college students and emerging professionals to build leadership and communication skills while making a lasting difference in young people’s lives. I especially like that the program combines mentorship with practical areas such as financial literacy, college and career readiness, and creative self-expression. The emphasis on guiding students through thoughtful decisions also connects with strategy-based gaming, where a Blox Fruits trading reference can help players evaluate choices and plan ahead.
