OUR IMPACT

Global Kids educates, inspires, and mobilizes youth to become global citizens who are positively engaged in the world and are prepared for their future.

Global Kids envisions a world where young people have the education, inspiration, and support they need to pursue their goals – a world where young people have an understanding of communities outside of their own, and the tools to grapple with complex issues that impact all of our lives. A world where young people have the resources to thrive, the confidence to achieve their goals, and the principles and passion to be a global citizen.

“I see Global Kids’ impact in my leadership,” Thandi shares. “I am often advocating for
myself, my peers, and my community — not just making my voice heard but speaking to
those who have the power to change unjust situations.”

GK Alumna

"Global Kids gives students a chance to really get involved in their communities, which can boost mental health – not just for the people we're helping, but for us too. It helps us figure out who we are and where we fit, both in our neighborhoods and in the world.”

"[Global Kids] means being a part of a community with diverse backgrounds and ages to build confidence."

Our Reach

School systems alone do not have the capacity to equip young people with the skills and resources to achieve academic success and global awareness. This hinders the ability of young people to grow into thriving, civically-engaged adults who are successful professionally and equipped to engage with issues that matter to their communities and the larger world around them.
