Academic Achievement

In our academic programming, we provide enrichment and intervention programs in both STEM and English language arts. 97% of GK Leaders graduate high school each year, as compared to the average graduation rates of 76% in NYC and 68% in Washington DC public schools. 94% attend college after and many also take direct action to improve their communities. GK alumni remain active civic leaders, champions of social justice and accomplished professionals in fields as varied as international affairs, business, law, healthcare, education, and the non-profit sector.
