#GK5K: Global Kids' Annual 5K Run/Walk & Family Day
Global Kids’ Annual 5K Run/Walk/Push takes place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens each fall, bringing together nearly two hundred students, families, volunteers, GK staff, and members of the community.
The fundraising initiative is spearheaded by Global Kids’ Young Professionals Committee and supported by various corporate sponsors and community partners.
The event includes:

5K Fun Run or Timed Run

Participants can choose to complete the course at their own pace OR a competitive timed run against peers in their corresponding age group.

Medals & complimentary swag for all participants
To meet the challenges that our youth face in 2025, we’ve set up this campaign with a goal of $10,000 in support of GK programs. Global Kids is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and all funds raised from our annual 5K fundraiser will benefit the GK mission.
With your help, Global Kids, Inc. can reach our fundraising goal and continue our work providing essential youth development services to over 10,000 students annually across nearly thirty sites throughout the NYC- and D.C.-metropolitan areas.
