![]() | Hi, may name is Joliz. Me and my friends are going to answer your questions about E.A.9.11... | ![]() |
![]() What the heck is E.A.9.11? |
Everything After: a 9.11 Youth Circle (E.A.9.11 - get it?) is a new type of online discussion - small circles of high-school students coming together for three weeks in March to talk about... big surprise, get ready... everything after September 11th.

![]() Why do we need it? I've already said my share? |
It's been six months since the attacks, and in some ways life has gone back to normal. But "normal" feels different than it used to. And this isn't just about 9.11 - it's E.A.9.11: Homeland Security, Bush's "Axis of Evil", The war in Afghanistan, John Walker, violence against Muslims, etc. |
![]() What's so special about E.A.9.11? |
The E.A.9.11 Youth Circle puts YOU in the driver's seat (if you're between the ages of 14-19, that is). You're totally in charge to set your own agenda and lead your own discussions. Since it's only for three weeks and the Circles are small (about 30 active members), it's a chance for really interesting and exciting exchanges to develop. |
![]() Where's the free stuff? |
![]() We know that making friends and discussing hot issues is thrilling, but it doesn't hurt to win free stuff, right? So we are offering two chances to win. Register and post at least one message to be entered into a contest to win one of an assortment of cool videos from PBS or participate as requested on the registration page and be entered into a contest to win a Sony PlayStation (PSone). |
![]() So who are you floating bubble head people? |
Heh, good question! We're the Youth Circle Monitors, young people like you, recruited from Global Kids to help with running E.A 9.11 project. We'll be watching over the Youth Circles to observe and make sure everything runs smoothly. We won't lead (or even participate) in the discussions - that part is up to you. |
![]() Okay, I'm convinced! But why can't I sign up? |
![]() This project was created to only live during the 6th month anniversary of the 9.11.01 attacks. If you would like to learn about future Global Kids' projects like this, please give us your email below (no spam, no worries): |
